Greetings! Welcome to First Baptist Church Newport News. I am glad you have chosen to visit our website. I wanted to let you know that we are a multicultural Christian family made up of people from almost every part of Latin America: Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Bolivia, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador and the United States.
The only one missing is you.
And we want you to be part of us.
If you are looking for a family of faith that loves Jesus, if you are looking for a family of faith whose members love one another, if you are looking for a family of faith to grow spiritually and serve the community with; then First Baptist Church is that family for you. Our Mission
VIDA Groups
We have a network of small groups that meet throughout the week in different parts of the city. We call them LIFE Groups, because it is in those groups where:
I – Incorporate the Word of God in our lives
F – Feel for one another
E – Engage our community for Christ
Mission Kidz
Misión Kidz is our children ministry, which aims to collaborate with parents in the education and Christian formation of our children. We teach stories. We have games, music, and manual activities so our children learn and apply biblical principles to their daily lives.
Misión Kidz meets on Sundays at 11:00 a.m. We grow, share and have fun!
