In
Romans 3:23, the Bible says,
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."
Romans 6:23 says
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Still, God loves you and wants to save you from sin, to offer you a new life of hope.
John 10:10 says
"I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full."
What you need to do is repent of your sins; tell God you are sorry.
Matthew 9:13 says
"For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners"
To give you this gift of salvation, God made a way through His Son, Jesus Christ. God Himself made a sacrifice for us by the giving of His Son.
John 3:16 says
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life." and
Romans 5:8 says
"But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
You can receive this gift only by faith.
Ephesians 2:8-9 says
"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith -- and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God -- not by works, so that no one can boast."
Faith is a decision of your will demonstrated by the actions of your life. Trust in Christ as your Lord and Savior.
Romans 10:9-10, 13 says
"If you confess with your mouth 'Jesus is Lord,' and
believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. For, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."
You have nothing to lose by accepting His gift, but so much to lose if you do not!
The Holy Spirit will set you free!
If right now, you have chosen to believe Jesus died for your sins and want to receive new life through Him, pray a prayer such as the one below, and thank Him for your new life:
"Dear God, I know I am a sinner. I believe Jesus died to forgive me of my sins. I now accept Your offer of eternal life. Thank You for forgiving me of all my sin and for my new life in Christ. From this day forward I will follow you and live only for you."
